(Montgomery) - The Zonta Club of Montgomery will be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser on the morning of Saturday, June 4, 2011, to benefit Aid to Inmate Mothers.

The pancake breakfast will be held at the Carter Hill Road Applebee’s (corner of Carter Hill Road and Zelda).

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The public is welcome. For a $5 donation, you’ll get a hearty breakfast for a good cause.

AIM’s mission is “To provide services to Alabama’s incarcerated women with emphasis on enhancing personal growth and strengthening the bonds between inmate mothers and their children.” You can learn more about AIM’s important work, which includes helping women successfully transition back into the community, at their website: www.inmatemoms.org

The Zonta Club of Montgomery is proud to support AIM financially and through its ongoing volunteer efforts with the Storybook program. Last year, Zonta hosted its first ever pancake breakfast fundraiser dedicated to supporting AIM. The event raised just over $2000. We’re
hopeful that this year’s event will be equally successful.

Zonta is an international organization of professionals dedicated to improving the status of women worldwide. The Montgomery Club was chartered in 1948, and has been serving women locally and internationally ever since.
